Name

dkport - portability layer

Description

This library is a portability layer, hiding system differences from the application programmer.

The following headers/modules are contained:

• dk
includes some other include files to configure the library.
• dkmem
contains functions and macros for dynamic memory allocation.
• dksignal
implements portable signal handling.
• dkss (obsoleted)
searches for strings.
• dklog (obsoleted)
contains functions for logging.
• dkenc
provides functions for encoding changes.
• dkstr
contains various functions for string handling.
• dkstrdc
deletes comments at the end of configuration file lines.
• dksf
is an interface to various system functions, i.e. information about files, directory traversal...
• dkma
provides mathematical operations with additional checks to prevent range overflow or 0 division.
• dkslsupp
converts syslog keystring (i.e. "auth.notice") into the appropriate numeric values.
